A poem by Paul, written for his son and daughter in law. ❤️ The Miscarriage O’ young babe who’s never been Who is died, and yet unseen Washed away and finished through What were you going to do? Whether a lover or warrior be Or sail the world on foaming seas Now you wait for mother dear A long wait of many a year As you protect her with all your charms And wait to hold her in your arms Will you help your young siblings get older With the powers that you now shoulder To save your mother from pain again To give her the health and strength of ten Should I write more of this sad song Of your being not being for long And mourn this worldly woe If only you’d had a go. if any you have written a poem, please share it with us (If you feel comfortable doing so).

Good afternoon all, we are looking at maybe doing some Zoom meetings on an evening, once a week, this would be a small meeting where we can have a virtual drink and a chat. would anyone find this useful? The chat can be about absolutely anything, it doesn’t have to be around miscarriage per say, it could just be you are looking for a bit of a friendly chat. let me know and we will look to get something set up in the near future. Chris.

Evening all, Just checking in, hope everyone is doing ok, remember you know where we are if you need a chat. Over the next couple of weeks, we will have some new admins coming onboard and I will introduce them in due course. They will be like minded people who have been through the agony of miscarriage, and will be willing to share their experiences with you, and just let you know that you are not alone. We hope for the platform to become 24hr live, meaning one member of the admin team will be online to speak to people as and when needed. One other thing, you will notice in the coming weeks, that the website will be having a make over, which will make it much more user friendly, and look much more aesthetically pleasing. A proper website designer is working on this, and we will be ready to go live with the new design soon. I am in talks with a few different men groups, to do some collaborations, so there will be an opportunity for you to join these groups also should you wish. Remember, most importantly, if you need a chat, please drop a comment on the forum, or feel free to DM me. stay safe, look after your loved ones. Chris.

Evening all, Hope you are all keeping well, and are having a good week so far. I am now in the next creative stage of looking to see how we can develop the website further, and also how we develop the Miscarriage For Men brand further. So, now it is over to you guys, what would you like to see us do? Some ideas that we have are: - Community Zoom outreach meetings (Post-Covid - outreach meetings in person) - Welcome meeting BBQ Event (post covid) - Location would be an issue, but maybe a few different 'get togethers' - Live therapy /grief counselling meetings with professional Therapists / Grief councilors. - 24hr live chat function - with likeminded guys from all over the world. - Charity group events - Raising vital funds for some of our 'helpful links' charities. Let me know any ideas that you have and we can have a chat about them. I am open to all suggestions. Chris

In Welcome to the Forum
Good Evening Everyone, Firstly, I just want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has reached out and either contacted us via DM, or who has wrote their story on the forum. I know that it must have taken a lot to do so, so I am really grateful for those of you that have. I never once thought the website would be so popular, and that really makes me sad, as I would rather that nobody came to the page, and the world was good. Unfortunately, we know that is not the case, and it was inevitable that people would need to visit, and I am determined to help every single person that I can. I am not a professional therapist, I am just a listening ear, and if my story or any of the guys story on here can help, then this platform will have achieved what I set out to do. Post Covid, we have plans to extend this even further but unfortunately, these things cost money. everything going into the website I am covering myself, but i want to make this platform even bigger and even better for those that need it. I currently have a Fab web designer working on a new look for the platform which will make it so much more fluid for the users. In order to keep the website running and develop the platform further, I have created a Go Fund Me, whilst we look into the possibility of becoming a CIO. The money raised on here will go back into the website and will increase the features as we look to expand, as we are now 2 weeks in and the platform has outgrown what we can do on Wix. We need to look at creating a full platform. In light of this, in April, I will run the equivalent of 2 Marathons and 1 1/2 marathon - 105km to be precise. Now at 17st I couldn't do this in a few days, so my aim is to run approx 3.5km per day (few more here and there) so if you would like to sponsor me you can do this on the Go Fund Me link https://gofund.me/a6b1fcbd and everything raised will go into making this platform bigger and better, and there will be a few donations made to the 4Louis page also. Just for reassurance, the page will continue to get bigger and better without any donations, as I will fund it myself if needs be. This page is here to stay. This platform has been missing for too long. Have a great weekend Guys, stay safe. Chris
